Hello all, I am from INDIA, Bangalore. I am a research scolar and presented a research paper at IEEE AINA 2008.

You can visit my site http://www.pandurangarao.i8.com

ITs a nice conference to mixup with many qualitative researchers around the world. I am so impressed.

Thanks for ALL

So I definitely need to learn more biology things from my girl friend :D

Though I have not yet found inspiration from her field, but indeed, I get a rough picture of how different the natural science research is from engineering.

Telecommunications software is constructed on top of artifacts: protocols above IP layer and end-to-end argument. Thus I am always working on the things that are created by people (e.g. SIP, RTP, etc). My work is to assemble these blocks to a new application or service.

By contrast, Biology is dealing with nature: cell, protein, cancer, etc. They are creatures, but not created by you, so Biology people's work is to explain the nature with a scientific model, for instance, how cancer is formed.

Therefore, my result is usually easily repeatable, since it's software, you just execute it another time; but my girlfriend always has the problem of repeating the same result from the same experiments.

One common thing between Biology and telecommunications software is the lack of mathematic... This is a problem sometimes.

Therefore, I would like to learn more about networking after completing the thesis, as it also deals with natural things, such as radio frequency and spectrum. For now, network is only a black box to me. All I need to remember is that it will deliver my packets to the other end.

Due to the lack of these knowledge, I don't know why current 3G network can offer a certain data speed and WLAN offers a higher rate... Don't laugh at me :) I am just playing with artifacts for too long, so certainly need to refresh my mind and ideas :)

Weeks 20-29 (32-41)
Ten weeks since the last post. The knee has been imporving a lot. During August week 20 of my recovery I did hard biking fi9nally. I also travelled within Japan and carried heavy suitcases up and down stairs in metro stations. When I came back to Finland it was quite good.
Nowadays it feels quite strong and the flexibility is almost complete. I got some harder exercises from the physiotherapist that stress my knee. However, the knee is still soared and the leg muscles considerably smaller (but improving). The only thing that annoys me is that when i stretch it hard enough it cracks easily, sort of like cracking your fingers or knuckles on purpose. I do not know if it will go away or just crack more, but it feels nice when it does.

I am also trying to train only one leg. I read from an american football coach that you should not worry about the good one. Since when the bad one recovers then you can train both. However, if you train both when you have a bad one the weaker one will never really recover. I think it is paying off because it is getting better.

Anyways, it is already October. I can jog, but it hurts afterwards. The physiotherapist said that jogging does not bring any advantage to my knee so I am focusing on other exercises. I should run in water but the pool in my University was closed permanently. I hope I can post more, often so that changes are not so dramatical between posts. However, the 80% recovery should ocur in 6 months and full recovery in about 70 weeks.
